GW250 Coming As A 2017 Model
Earlier this month, Suzuki announced the rest of its early-release 2017 models and the GW250 is one of them.
Described by Suzuki as “an intelligent motorcycle in a class of its own”, the 2017 GW250 has the big bike looks but, with a new rider friendly 248cc liquid-cooled engine.
The parallel twin’s fuel sipping nature will make its 13.3 L tank last and performance was not sacrificed for fuel economy. Equipped with an electronic fuel injection (EFI) system, the fuel delivery and the ignition timing changes depending on the riding conditions, moving riders smoothly and swiftly through city streets or across curvy open roads. The EFI also stabilizes the engine idle for a more linear throttle response and because it’s mated with a six-speed transmission, you’ll experience better low to mid-range power delivery.
As for the GW250 chassis, its telescopic front fork and mono-shock rear suspension with seven-way adjustable spring preload will soak up road bumps and you can tune the preload for an extra passenger or additional cargo for road trips. Ergonomically, the GW250 will suit a variety of riders with handlebars designed for a relatively upright riding position and a 5-way adjustable brake lever for confident riding through the city or long rural road trips.
The Pearl Nebular Black model will start at $4,099 and that seems to be the only available color for now.
