Question Best windscreen for the Suzuki GW 250?

I feel like a windscreen is almost a necessity for the Suzuki GW 250. at least if you are riding at any time other than the height of the summer.Just wondering which windscreens you guys recommend? Function is important of course, but I feel like most windscreens will work well so after that it comes down to looks.

Any advice/info would be awesome.

AGREED... Brrrrrrrrr....

Speaking from today's experience of riding in sunny GA at 40 degree temps with some wind, my next accessory for the GW250 will be a windshield! I have an insulated Fulmer riding jacket and some nice/new & warm riding gloves, but it's still COLD out there, fellas. My daily temps are already on the up, with Spring arriving here soon. This weekend will be sunny & in mid-60 to 70 degree range.

Even when it's warmer, though, I will want a windshield for comfort, bug deflection, and also I think it will help on fuel efficiency too (minimally, I know).

The one I want most as of now is by a company called MadStad. I've been emailing the owner for the last month, trying to persuade him to design one of his systems for the GW250/Inazuma. Nothing as of yet, but I'm not giving up.

Other than Madstad, I suppose the best I've seen in online pics are GIVI screens modified to fit OR Puig screens. I'm more of a pure function guy. I'd like it to look OK, too, but that's a secondary thing for me. -KDB

a windscreen on a GW still wont really stop bugs from hidding you during most riding. unless you are like fully tucked behind the windscreen. there have been a few windscreens posting around here. mostly from asia

Its a balance for me. Because of the upright seating position you'd need a pretty tall windscreen to actually block the wind, but i also think that those windscreens don't look the best, so I will be looking for a happy medium.

That is true, it is a downside, the need of a big wind screen, but at least it makes for a more practical long distance bike. Worth it even if it looks too high. Function over form
