Talking Freezing in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada

Hi All, I am a 49 year old guy who has been riding off road for years (most recently on a CRF 230). I decided to buy my first street bike and after a bunch of research I bought a 2017 GW 250. It was on sale for $3699 and came with a free 5 year warranty. I have been riding it almost daily for the last three weeks and love it......what a blast to ride!!! Little cold in the morning at -3 Celsius but not bad by the time I ride home from work. Unfortunately we had a big snow/ice storm last week so I have to wait until it all melts before I can get out again.

Welcome to the forums, seems like you like it a good bit!

Any modifications done or planned for it?

I really want to get a windshield for it as I am often riding in cooler temps and also an exhaust that is louder so cars can hear me coming

That definitely sounds like a windshield would be handy. What about heated grips and a seat?

You should check out Puig, they have a shield for the GW. Most importantly its a shield that other members like yourself want, last I checked KBD was one of them. But it might help us help you if you mention your height.
