You do have a point on throwing money away because if there's any segment to do it, its with something as affordable as this.
Depending on your needs you could even dip lower into the Honda Grom and even Suzuki Van Van 200 if you want to stay Suzuki.

I wouldn't say only this segment or lower. A lot of turbo kits I see are installed on liter bikes as well.

It happens on that end too but when it comes to volume the smaller more affordable bikes take the lead. Much easier to do it when the overall cost is much lower and a lot of people have been their and done it.
