I guess if you ride bikes for the look its an important factor. Realistically the law is the law no matter how much we all may try and bend it. Should in no way shape or form detract for your riding experience. If it does you might want to look at a new hobby...

Yup, it's not something I do, but im sure others do it. Plus riding is more about the experience, no point being so picky about something like that

No, those front plates are not exactly pretty, though as another poster mentioned, they don't look too out of place on the vintage bikes. But on a newer-style bike?... Forget it. As with car plates, I think there is nothing more unattractive than a plate on the front. Luckily, here in Newfoundland at least, cars do not have front plates, though most Canadian provinces do require them. That's reason enough right there to move to Newfoundland!

I'm really pleased with it. Cutting through this original Fairing wasn't as bad as expected either. Only one screw hole was really annoying to deal with, I just Dremeled a hole thought the tidy tail and it worked beautifully.

I did this. Hacked off the plastic rear fender, used two clamps on the already existing bolts and that's it. Altogether less than $10. (you can sorta see 'em above the license plate, still brass haven't painted them yet). Took off the blinkers on a whim, so currently managing with the LED Strip with integrated blinkers below the plate. Need to find a place to mount the blinkers soon. And need to figure out a small rear tire hugger of some sorts so that i don't splash water on riders behind me (it's monsoon here). Any suggestions?
